I Dream of Cassie by Diana Vale
Blurb: What was going through Diego’s mind when he met Cassie? Diego Valentine has always been a sensible, level-headed man. The kind of man who stayed with the same woman for over a decade, and worked really hard to become a respected professor in his field at a young age. But life isn’t always straightforward. His hope of a smooth divorce goes sour when his ex-wife Linda demands his financial assets. Not to mention his brother, Matty, won’t stop trying to set Diego up with random women. But then, Diego begins taking beautiful and spirited Cassandra for one-and-one tutorials.
Diego is strangely drawn to Cassie — she is charming, lively, and not afraid to go after what she wants. Could he be falling for her? No. That would be far too inappropriate. After all, she is half his age and his student. The sensible thing would be to resist. But Cassie doesn’t give up that easily… This is a companion story to Professor Valentine, book one of the Kirk University series, told from the perspective of Diego.

Professor Valentine by Diana Vale
Blurb: Love tastes sweeter when it’s forbidden… Diego Valentine is gorgeous. Infamous among the psychology department, Cassie knows of his dashing looks and charming demeanour. But she doesn’t predict her secret yearning for their private weekly tutorials in the confines of his office. Overtime, their friendship blooms into something more, and the two can’t ignore their fiery chemistry. But he is her professor, almost twice her age, and going through a divorce.
It is so wrong yet feels so right. Can they act on their feelings or push them aside? A steamy forbidden age-gap romance. Perfect for those who daydreamed about their hot university professors and schoolteachers. Contains cursing, alcohol, and on-page sex. No cliffhangers and a guaranteed HEA. 23,000 words. This is part of the Cassie & Diego collection and is book one in the Kirk University series, a collection of sexy new adult contemporary romance stories. Books 1-5 can be read as standalone books in any order.

Professor Valentine by Diana Vale
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Great book for February. Sizzling age-gap romance between young professor and his student.
Writing is great. Plot is good. Romance is shippable. Characters are well written. Only minus point for me is that both MCs seem to have no flaws. They\’re pretty normal is all other ways. So, having a couple of negative aspects could have made them more relatable. Also, I couldn\’t quite figure out why they were attracted to eachother.
Kirk uni is the usual university setting that I really liked. Rest of the characters reacted as expected to the forbidden romance angle.
If you\’re looking for a romance for Valentines month, then this book is perfect.
I\’m looking forward to reading Kirk Guys series.
